Party Outfits

Hey bloggers,

Olivia and I know how stressful it is to get ready for parties, most famous quote:

"Am I wearing too much, too little?!"

So we've decided to write this post on what to wear depending on the party and what to take.

Possibility 1- House Party

House parties will probably end up with you spilling something on yourself or getting dirty somehow.
I suggest you keep your outfit simple. To maintain this look, you could wear a floral tube skirt and a simple top, or the other way round.

Recently, I bought a skirt from Abecrombie and Fitch, and I absolutely love it; it's very practical as it is dark and pretty at the same time. You could combine this cute skirt with any simple strap tops or any other tops that are simple colours.

Now, to help complete the outfit we need the perfect pair of shoes. I've had bad experiences in the past when wearing heel and you end up just taking them off anyway as you walk around the whole time - however, Olivia doesn't have this problem but has a small tip to help if you do:

– If you want to wear heels, I suggest you take a pair of small flats (pumps) in your bag so you can change your shoes if you need to.

Possibility 2 - Dinner out

Now this is tricky as most of the time no one does see your outfit - but that's no excuse not to dress up!
If the restaurant is slightly posher, you should try to wear a dress - the dress shouldn't be too over the top though!

(Jack will's last season dress)

But if you're going out to any old restaurant with your mates or family, you could wear any pair of jeans a nice top - but remember to make an effort!

For nice, formal tops, I shop at Abecrombie and Fitch again, under their category of 'Fashion Tops' they have a ton of cute tops. Many other shops have lots of cute tops too, so have a good look around.

Possibility 3- Slumber party/ Movie Night

Now for this type of party, you don't need to care too much. Just get a pair of pajamas that you feel so comfortable in that you won't need to get changed and a hoodie for when you get cold. My personal favourite shop for pajamas is Gilly Hicks. There pajamas are so soft and warm! Take a look!
